Develop and validate AntamScript locally.

Development

Once the repository is installed, the available scripts are defined in package.json.

Development workflow

Development mode

Use Bun's hot mode:

bun run dev

This runs src/index.ts with --hot.

Build

Build the project into dist:

bun run build

The build command is:

bun build src/index.ts --outdir dist

Start

Run the source entry point without development hot mode:

bun run start

Format

Format the repository with Biome:

bun run format

Check

Run Biome checks:

bun run check

Type checking

Run the TypeScript checker through Bun:

bun run typecheck

The repository uses @ts-blank-space/tsc for this script.

A note on the current API

There is not yet a public AntamScript language API or syntax reference to document. New reference pages should be added as language features actually land in the repository.
